Appliance

An app built on the Onli platform that orchestrates asset flows but never holds your assets.

An app built on the Onli platform that can show you assets and request ownership changes — but never holds your assets.

Think of an Appliance like a storefront. It displays goods, takes your order, and coordinates the transaction. But the goods themselves stay in your Vault until you decide to hand them over. The store never takes possession of your stuff.

Appliances are built by developers using Onli Cloud APIs. They can be anything: marketplaces, loyalty programs, credential management platforms, financial tools — any application that involves digital ownership.

How it works

When an Appliance wants to move one of your assets, it sends an AskToMove request. You receive a notification in Onli You, review the details, and approve or deny. The Appliance coordinates the process, but you make the decision.

The golden rule: Appliances never touch assets. They orchestrate. You authorize.

You can discover Appliances through The Catalog inside Onli You — think of it like an app store for ownership applications.
